Apparently, some people think running isnât tough enough.
Add this options and you'll be able to pick up your pumpkin for the challenge prior heading to the start line. Carry it the entire 3.1 miles to the finish line and you'll receive the exclusive Tough Pumpkin medal in addition to the regular Finisher's medal.
We encourage people of all levels and abilities to come out and join us. The race itself is a fun celebration of our favorite season! Whether you run it, walk it, or somewhere in between, you will have a great time. In fact, about 1/3 of all participants opt to walk the 5K.
Only service animals are permitted.
Packet pick-up is on Friday from 4:00PM-6:00PM at the arena as well as race morning from 7:00AM-9:00AM.Â
Due to road closures and re-openings, you must complete the 5K within 1 hour 15 minutes. This is an average pace of 24:10 per mile (a relaxed walking pace that most people can comfortably maintain!)
The time limit is very walker-friendly and allows for a relaxed, comfortable walking pace that most participants can easily maintain. For everyoneâs safety and to reopen roads on schedule, participants who are unable to maintain the event pace may be asked to continue their 5K on the sidewalks.
Yes, but please line up at the back of your corral.
We advise arriving no later than 7:30AM.
Parking is held at nearby garages, surface lots, and street meters, which are plentiful in the area.
We advise checking Google Maps to plan your arrival and find parking options. As a reminder, surrounding streets will begin rolling closures as the race start nears. We advise arriving by 7:30AM to find the closest parking.
